Sand dunes of the Oregon coast

„I am unapologetically trying to capture the beauty of the natural world“

Whenever traveling around mountain ranges or climbing, I am constantly awed by the vastness, the majesty and the sheer beauty of those wild places. I originally picked up a camera because I felt the need to share those feelings with others.

Through mountaineering, I am also able to observe from a unique viewpoint, and I aspire to sharing a small part of the incredible experience that climbing a mountain can be.

I adhere to the strong ethics standards of nature photographers such as Galen Rowell. I feel a responsability to record what I saw and felt, and nothing more. But since a camera is a much more limited tool than the combination of my eye and mind, it also means that I will use whatever technique is available to obtain the closest match to what I remember a scene to be.
